Hello everyone. On this week's Phlat Lab show we shared a story with you about a women named Jackie. She lives in Florida and worked with Mark's sister as an orderly in a nursing home for many years. She was always kind to the patients and has been described to us as a very good person. She doesn't have a lot of education so she didn't make a lot of money. Now, she has had 2 strokes and can't work anymore. She is living in a small house that is slowly falling down around her. She lives in a bad neighborhood with a boarded up broken front window. Her dryer is broken. Her car is broken with a $1,500 bill. Basically, she has nothing. She has always lived very modestly and was never into herself or fancy clothes, etc. She has only ever been concerned with the basics. She never asks for help and she doesn't get any.

At Christmas, it's easy to remember a family with kids that needs help. What's not easy and what hasn't been done in the past is to remember this single women who could use a helping hand as much as anyone.

We are going to Florida for Christmas. While we are there, us and some of the family are going to go to her house and help her any way we can. Right now, the plan is to help clean up the house and the yard and we are going to paint her bedroom.

We don't know Jackie ourselves but Mark's sister said she is an angel. We are trying to raise $1,500 to pay her car repair bill. We are going to put in everything we can in on it. We started a couple of Ebay auctions, we're selling our Ipad, and the AR Drone is going as well. We talked about this during the Phlat Lab show and raised $225! THANK YOU GUYZ SO MUCH!!! Hey guyz. So, wait until you hear this update...

So, we put a couple of things on Ebay trying to raise money. One of them is the UFO Lamp that we showed on the show a couple of months ago. The auction ended at $600!! We couldn't believe it! Then, we checked our email and the bidder changed their mind. We offered a 2nd chance auction to the 2nd bidder. They were really mad that the bidding went that high. We told them about Jackie and why we were ebaying the lamp in the first place. In the end, they bought the lamp for a donation of $150.

We couldn't be happier! It's a real blessing.

We are up to $525 of the $1500 that we are trying to raise.

Hey guyz. Well, we have to tell you all, we just received a large anonymous donation which has now pushed us up to and over our goal This is so awesome. It is going to be a great Christmas! We are now able to get the car fixed and pay for the exterminator!!!

We'll leave the ability to donate up in case you still would like to help. Any further donations will be used for home repairs and/or her needs that will become apparent once we have a chance to meet and spend some time with her.

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, and donations for Jackie. We met with her and delivered the generous goodies while we were in Florida. It was such a blessing and she couldn’t have been happier. She cried, danced, and almost threw the $500 cash in the air in celebration. Thanks to you and thanks to God, we were able to deliver the following:

$50 OutBack Restaurant Gift Card
New Towel Set
New Kitchen Utensil Set
A pretty flower arrangement
Her House was exterminated
Her bedroom received a fresh coat of paint

To say we blew her mind would be an understatement. She had no idea that any of this was happening. She cried when we told her about the car repairs. She celebrated when we gave her the cash. She yelled “I can eat” when we gave her the OutBack gift card. She lost her breath when she opened the TV. She said “I can buy pants” when she opened the WalMart gift card and she was so excited that an exterminator was coming and that her room was going to be painted. She loved everything!!
