Hello everyone. We have exciting news. Alfoot, the designer of The Twirl, has given us permission to create Phlat-Code for the twirl! We have been trying to work on this for a couple of weeks but we are tied up with the MK II as you all know. We figured we should post the plans here in case someone else wanted to work on it in the meantime. Once these plans are completed, we will move it to the Free Plans, strange aircraft section.

I'm cutting this for a friend of mine who is all into autogyros. Here is the sketchup file along with a cut file for a 1.6mm bit.

I have a Twirl that I scratchbuilt from foam trays and it is a blast. However I did away with the balsa and dowel reinforcement on the side of the fuselage. The dissimilar properties caused the fuselage to change by bending left or right depending on humidity. Added a horizontal section on both sides nose to tail. Looks better now and more stable structure.
