Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this. Anyway what is the thickest foam than can be cut on the Phlatprinter.

    Thanks,
    Jim

The pp can handle up to 2" of thickness, but your limit per-pass will be limited to the specific cutter you are using. That said, the Multi-pass function (available with the latest PhlatScript) will allow you to cut that deep (in steps) if your cutter bit sticks that far up above the router head.

Also be aware of the cutting height of the bit. For example most 1/6" bits are something like 3/16" depth of cut, and have 1/8" shafts, so you really can't go more than that. If you use an 1/8" bit w/ an 1/8" shaft you should be OK.

    Yea,
    I have a similar problem
I need a 3" long 1/8" shank ball nose bit.
I have a plane (B52 Hustler )that I am building for a friend that will be cut as a 3D model cut from 2" foam
The fuse is split down the middle and each side is 2" thick at the widest. It will be about 6 feet long, too long to cut on my 4X4 Hybrid CNC, so I will cut it out on the Phlatprinter if I can find a bit. :?

This might work for you. Never ordered from them so do not know how their service is.
