Tool path

    Ok I did a design and now when I generate the g-code it sends the printer all around, its start in the bottom the goes to the top and starts cutting, then donw in the middle.

    I guess you see my point.

    Is thier a way to tell it to start cutting the nearest peice nearest the start point then the next closets and so on and so for.

    Or does it go by the sequence that you laid out your peices on your cutting area.

    You can control the cut order of the individual pieces by making them each a Group in sketchup in the order you would like them to cut.

    Mark has made videos to get you going for using the Phlatscript in the Phlatscript tutorial section. I would highly advise you to watch these videos, they contain the main essentials to understanding how the Phlatscript works.
