    Hey all,

Finishing up 'toon Fokker file here. Using the V-tabs this time. How do I know if the V-tabs will be making a notch into my part or the scrap around it? Wouldn't be good to have a bunch of notches in the part. Is there a way to orient V-Tabs?

In mach3, you can use your mouse and drag the tool path to orient it so you can see the tabs.

A V tab is just like a regular tab but instead of being a rectangle (up, over, down), it looks like a V. The gantry continues moving and produces faster cut speeds and less material to trim when separating the parts.

A V tab is not to be confused with Tab and Slot construction.

The V tab trvels in the Z axis so it does not interfere with the part at all. It's there just to hold your parts in place.
