DO NOT upgrade your Sketchup to 7.1. I did and now I regret it.
Colors are screwed up for all the Phlatboyz scripts, all inside/outside/fold/centerline/tabs are now black and it makes it rough to figure out

I posted a quick fix in 7up's other thread. The next version of PS will have a proper fix.

Well, that is good but taking the DXF-DWG import out really stinks.

Dang it I stared at that insall button for a minute and then just hit it. :( How about a system restore?

I agree Jeff, that is a big loss.

You can use the Add/Remove Programs to remove Sketchup completely and then reinstall from the old install file. I just had to do that to make the Phlatscript patch and test it in both versions.

They took DXF DWG import out! jeesh thats how I get all my designs into sketchup, I wonder why they did this? Is it possible to get old versions of sketchup or do they just have only the latest version for download?

    Wow!
I can't believe they took the DXF option out. What a bummer.

I don't think they will bring it back no matter how much fuss is made but you can enable the import again for this last version. They provide a tool to do so here. It might be handy until some enterprising folks come up with a better option.

I just mentioned this in the other thread, but there seems to be alot of concern here about dxf import. So here is a repeat. Worst case, it easy enough to work around, just by keeping an older version of sketchup installed, too. You can import into the older version. And any old sketchup file is easily converted, just by opening in the newer version.

I installed the importer and it puts it right where it was suppose to be. Thanks for the find Gasmasher.
