    Hey guyz,
    Check this out This would make and AWESOME RC plane!
    Could we make an RC plane from this and attempt to break the RC speed record?!
    As cool as the speed record is, I find the in-flight battery change out system fascinating! :good:

    Pretty cool stuff indeed.. Looks like a Long EZ.....

    Yea, in flight re-fueling for electric powered aircraft... Who woulda thunk.

    Break the R/C speed record... I believe that is held by a slope sorer (no motor) at over 400 MPH. I've seen 200+ MPH turbines, and they were FAST!!!. Can't image what 400+ would be like, and slope gliders are usually smaller than your typical turbine.

    Here's an article stating almost 400, but I saw one on RCG that was over 400 not too long ago, just can't find it now.

    487! 500 is sooo close. This is just awesome stuff. That turbine is cool too but that you almost expect it to be fast where getting a slope flyer to go that fast is talent and timing.
