I was doing some testing of 3D cutting
One time I left marked to mult step
The plugin failed, even clearing the mult step, I could not make cuts in 3D
Installed over the new beta version, still the problem continued.
the only way to make cutting in 3D, was to delete the files and reinstall
after clean install, everything went back to normal, 3D cut works perfectly

    This was a bug?
There is forecast to make cuts in mult step 3D?

I have just tested my install of the beta3, and it works just fine. You must remember to restart Sketchup after the install.

However, if you have a flat drawing as for normal Gcode generation, and tick '3D', the plugin will fail.
3D mode only works on an actual 3D object, with its base on the XY plane, and no cutlines must be applied.

Please note that the 3D cutting function is very rough and you should preview your Gcode in something like OpenSCAM before cutting actual material. A 3D cut can take hours.

I understand the difficulties and the challenge of putting new features
There is forecast to implement mult step in 3D?

multipass in 3D is already there!
Note that the safe area must be at X0 Y0
The 3D object must be at least 1 bit diameter from the bottom left corner of the safe area.
See attached example display and the file that generated it.
In a few hours 1.1e-beta4 will be available, please install it as it will contain a small bug fix in the 3D generator.

    Eureka! I discovered my mistake
as always cut 1/4 plates "(6.35 mm) forgot to mark the correct thickness in the model
Increased the number of details to force the test

There was an error with the tool back into the material

    Attached, the Skp and gcode

Thank you for listening and detachment.

you need to move the part away from the origin. I moved it 5mm up and right and the code came out alright. changing to 25% stepover made it even better. here is a rendering from OpenSCAM for the code I generated.

While generating the gcode correctly, this was not the result I wanted
The square base, I did not want to cut, just cut the part profile

I solved the problem by placing the settings a greater height than the model
The piece has 30mm, 31mm configured with
this solved partly because I needed take an extra step on the material (waste of time). put the gcode exited properly.

Many pieces already have the lateriais the material in the correct measure
Just need to cut the top

    result:

Despite having to take an extra step
I am very pleased with the result
If encounter other difficulties, I report
I hope this topic can help someone and show 3D capability
    congratulation, this wonderful plugin

    Thank you very much.
    hugs
