I finally got my Phlatprinter up and running. I used ACME 3/8" all thread from Enco and made the top and sides removable. The only other notable mod that I did was to the Z-gantry. Because I am using a Roto-zip instead of the Dremel, I wanted a mounting mechanism where I could easily replace or reposition the tool. Here is what I came up with.

Basically, I cut the grounding bolt off the front of two of these http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=256460-1558-HT-410&lpage=none and mounted them with 2 1/2" bolts from behind. Attached files [IMG]

Very neat Mod!! and useful for anybody with a stock gantry to be able to easily fit a Rotozip. Nicely done.

    Best Regards,
