Dav check out this site for blue laser.
The wattages are ok, good band has a higher one.
I use inkscape to do some conversions to use in sketchup,
I can't seem to draw in inkscape like sketchup.
      This site has good information.

Those are nice units, but, had to buy a dishwasher so lasers are off the table until, maybe, tax return season.

I tried Inkscape and struggled to do the simplest stuff, gave up after 40 minutes. Laser control is coming to SketchUcam in v1.4a, 'real soon now' (-:

      part 2
Looked at the inside gplot cut was broken in the upper
right side of the radius??? had to redraw the radius of the hold and that fixed that problem gcode.
I don’t know if other users of sketchup 15/16, when you save the drawing or code gcode plus save it, seems to take a long time, plus it shows “not responding” if you wait it seems to clear it’s self. Problem for another day?

those phlatprinter drawings have a LOT of line segments, and when you add cutlines, you double the count, that is why it takes a while to save.

      Hi dav
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. Had to fix my hybrid water heater. I think we got it fixed Thanks; haven't run into that problem before.
It took about six try's before it worked. I gave up last night; then tried it again this morning and it worked!!!
In that drawing at the bottom is a small hold it would not show up in gplot.

again thanks dav for the infor.

      Hi dav

Can I send you a file, one in skp16 and one in skp7.
I'm trying to build a phlat lll printer but make it 6" wider to run the wider depron sheets.
I tried using the OX bed and it sucks cutting foam.
when I make the changes sketchucam does not show all the cuts.
When you delete the outside line some of it stays you have to go along and clean each
      line.

      thanks bob

How to Gcode a dado in a end of a box. The end piece is 12 x 9 inches and 1/2" thick I would like to have the dado (red area) 1/8" (25%) deep and then cut out the profile. Also is there a plug in that chamfers and rounds over edges. I don't know how to upload a file from here
