Thanks Mark! I guess the question should be, do i want to do the same graphic twice LOL :) Usually not, but thanks to my MKII I can make as many as needed for the demand :p

BTW, I am working on the video tutorial as we speak and my Brother hooked me up with a killer editor WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!! :D

    Great job John!
It looked like you were using depron as your stencil media, is that right? I've been using poster board mainly but just recently thought I'd give the depron a try. I cut a depron stencil out the other day but haven't been able to shoot the paint yet but the depron seems like it will do a better job.

Yea! I love watching airbrushing vids and I really enjoyed that one. Good job.

Thanks for the heat setting tip. I've been practicing my skills, or I should say, lack of skills at airbrushing but it never occured to me to heat set the paint.

What paints are you using in the vid? What method are you using to hold your stencils in place, glue stick maybe?

Thanks Shaun!! I was using 2mm depron as my stencil, I like using poster board because the lines are super crisp but until I can get my MKII to cut them I will stick with the depron, it really comes out almost perfect to the human eye LOL :D

Thank you Buk :) The heat setting really lets you keep moving along, I use to wait for the paint to dry but being in a basement this took forever.. so I found this tip and have used it ever since!! I like to spray a light mist of 3m super 77 on the back of the stencil, I havent had any melting issues and found as long as you hold the can away from the foam about 8" by the time the mist hits the foam its almost dry :)

Thanks for the nice comments guyz!

John that was Awesome! I have to go back and watch this a few more times to see how you are able to do layer orders. Also did you use a white layer?(besides the hair streaks with the brush) It seems like I missed the part with the teeth, unless that stencil was on there right up to the end.
Thank you for sharing this brother very cool indeed!
I have a whole new respect for airbrushed artwork :)

Thank you Brother! The white layer was in the very beginning when I made a template of just the skull silhouette, once the outline in black was done everything else that was to be white fell in between all the color :) as for the teeth at time 6:40 I added a template for the teeth and then did a quick brush stroke of white to one side of the teeth to pop them out, this was part of the missing footage but not much was lost, hence I did a quick scan of the complete skull at the very end :D Hope you enjoy and cant wait to see your next paint scheme! :p

Thanks for the vote of confidence John :) But I am not so sure about that. One thing I could possibly do is design a machine that will airbrush! Now that would be a cool community project!
