Hey guys! I have been MIA for a bit due to a HEAVY course load this semester. Well I am back with a battery caddy to help you tote your lipos to the field. The caddy has 6 spots for 1500 mah - 2200 mah 3 cells and six slots for 300 mah - 1320 mah 3 cells. The code is for the stock bit and 6mm foam, slots cut at 5mm for a nice tight fit! I hope you enjoy!

Very nice design, AA! You know, I use an aluminum transmitter-style case to haul my charger and batteries around. I was thinking just the other day that I need to make some compartments in the case for separating all the batteries. This design makes me now understand that I can use the PP to make a compartment insert! I don't know why i can't seem to come up with these ideas myself! I just don't have ANY creative neurons firing, I guess...

It's good to see you popping in again. I've wondered what was keeping you away, mi amigo! Keep at the grind, though. You're paying your dues right now - one day soon it'll all be worth it!

1/4TH or 6mm foam works real good, even fully loaded it does not
feel flimsy. But wood would last longer and give it that pro look! :p

I have attempted to re-phlatcode this because of the PS upgrade, for some strange reson, some of the parts are not taking. I am posting the sketchup file and the phlatcode. I have some 1/4 inch MDF and wanted to try and cut it.

You are going to have to figure out for yourself what you are doing wrong, as I got no idea. Your phlatlines are obviously bad, but I can't duplicate it. I can see it, just by looking at the phlatlines on the sketchup drawing. I simply deleted and redid all you phlatlines; and it works perfect (1st pic). And if you had the phlatscript convert the old drawing, I checked that and it works fine also (2nd pic). -Kwok

[Edit] Ok, I've been able to reproduce it. Looks like the problem is with the bit size. When I put in 6.3mm for the bit size, you get that messed up outside cut. That's because the slot size is only 5mm.

Why would you use 6.3mm for bit size?

Hey crash5050, don't forget the 5mm slots. That's not going to fit 1/4" mdf, if that's what the slots are for.
