Centerline Tool vs. Fold Tool

    After reading the Phlatscript help file, searching the forums, messing around with it in Sketchup and viewing the results in Mach 3, I'm still confused on what the Centerline Tool does. Admittedly, I've not actually tied a physical Centerline cut yet, but to me it seems to act just like a Fold Tool cut...

    Can someone please explain the differences between these two tools/cuts and give examples of where I'd want to use one instead of the other?

    Ah, OK, I think I understand now. That explains what I was seeing. So the Centerline Tool would be good for creating pockets as well?

    Yes, there is a pocket plugin and that's what it uses. It generates the pocket lines and then you use the centerline tool for the gcode.
