ET I remembering you commenting about how you liked the led Mod that MartinT did for under the foam, it looks like you have have plenty of room there. are you still thinking of doing that as well? Mark
I will Probably not do the LED mod. I took the front roller off. I liked when I could see the bit. we will see how that works? Cheers E- T
I was thinking about doing this too as you really do not need the extra front pressure for foam. Once you cut wood though you may have to put it on to keep it from lifting up the material. Although if your plunge is slow enough and you use multi-pass that should not be a problem either Mark
OH YEAH!!!! That works ET!!! I'm modding my top plumbing right now to match it! that solves a problem I was having with the Vac pipe being too far from the head itself... easy to remove like that is a great idea. Thanks! Best Regards, Julian (Fozzy The Bear)
I used some "under the counter stick on" LED lights from Costco. They are powered by 3 AA batts. I hacked them open. The LED's are surface mounted 3 per board with 3 boards total per light. The boards can be wired in series. I've got 9 LED's under the lid now powered by the modified PC PS I use to turn the 12V fans that keep my Easy-CNC board cool. They work pretty good.
OK this is Take two. I liked the top part by the bit, but the bottom still needed some work. :ugeek: I found a 3/4x3/4x 1" T that looked like it would do the work. This is what I came up with. Now for the hose....What better than the Vacuum Hose :?: I did have to cut a hole through the side of the MKII stand. I preloaded the hose for the bend to keep the friction down. All that is left is to Glue it together. Cheers E-T Attached files
