Here's a quick video on how to import a picture(3 view) into SketchUp and set it to any size scale you want. It will also show you how to re-size any model to a new size, for example to change your model from 1/4" to 1/8" :)
    Hope it helps.

    Man that helps ALOT!
I've been doing it the hard way, which ins't as precise.
My way was to use the dimension tool, put it on a known measurement, then use the scaling tool and fight with trying to get it exact.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Mark,

One of your other videos showed this as well so I've been using it since November. Thanks for both videos!

How would you go about keeping the tab centered after you make the size readjustment? My problem has been when you take a tab and say the size is 1/4 deep and 3 inches wide. Now say you want to go to a deeper size other than 1/4 inch. If you add the new length it will take it away from being centered. In other words the new length you added would make that tab jump off center to the original tab.....Hope this makes sense  I have been lassoing the whole thing and realigning it to center manually.

    Frank,

Hmmm....is this what you mean? I added some pics of moving from a 1/4"x3" tab to a 3/4"x3" tab. Not sure what you mean by "jumping off center"?

Frank, can you, please, say it in simple English? :D I have no idea what you're talking about. Keeping it centered on what?
