    Hi,
I want to know what materials can be used in the Phlatformer, besides the sheets provided in the kit. What is the thickest sheet that can be formed? I'm interested in buying a Phlatformer to make bowls or caps, maybe an ice tray.

Also, can you vacuum form PLA in the Phlatformer?

    thanks

This is a good question flavegt and to be honest I am not sure. I really like the PETG .020 clear plastic that comes with the kit its tough. We have used that to make some custom ice trays in the past you can see here. http://phlatforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1 ... 63&start=0
I will try to order thicker materials and see how thick we can reasonably go with a pull.
I think the PLA would be a great test as well.
We do have a couple guys that are experimenting with kidex at 1/8" not sure how well it worked out.
    Thanks
    Mark and Trish
P.S. maybe some of the other guyz have pulled thicker material and will post their experiences as well.
