I'm expecting all of the linear motion parts tomorrow. This weekend will be spent drilling holes in the clod rolled steel plates....
I think my Gantry is too tall....I'm getting vibrations when it makes quick movments and I am doing fine cutting. I have to run at 30IPM with an accel of 1 to keep from translating vibrations into the cut. Large cuts I can do at 150IPM without any issues. Circles come out as perfectly as I can measure and squares are well square. I made the Gantry tall so I could add more Z travel f needed but I see now that was a mistake. No big....just have to cut the side supports down about 4 inches. Then move the Z carrier to accomodate the lower hang. I'll get some pictures in a few and show my first cuts....
