phlatscript

    Hi i have got a problem with the phlatscript plug-in that runs in sketchup i have a sample sketchup drawing with a 44 mm hole in the centre of it, i can get the tool offset around the outside of the drawing but cant seem to get one around the hole in the centre, ideas anyone

    Scott, make sure the circle you are working on is a face by itself and not part of the face of the whole part that you made. If you left click on it it should highlite as a circle.

    Thanks for the reply, have posted plenty of images on other forums but cant seem to get it to work here, i made a zip file but cant post it, could someone give me a quick run through on how to attach on your forum thanks. Scott

    Scott, your right I tried out your permissions and although you are allowed to post files. The board does not display them? Not sure why this is happening.
    I know there are some errors on the the board that need to be address in the near future so we will add this to the list of things to fix. We apologize for this and will let you know when we are back up and running properly.

    Hi Scott,
    The problem was that your part was not flat to zero and had no faces for the tools to work with.
    Select your part > Right Click > Phlat Edge > Phlatten Selected edges.
    This puts the part flat on the Z and creates faces for the SketchUcam tools to work with.
    Flattened part reworked.

    I was used to the posting setup in RC groups and didn't realize that the preview part was actually above where i was viewing the screen :oops: thanks for the help Scott
