Well, it's not as much as you guys have been getting, but it's all it takes to shut things down around here. I doubt much of anything will be left by tommorrow afternoon, and the road will probably be clear by this afternoon. I still find it funny that people were crowding the local supermarkets buying up "supplies" for the big snow storm. Saw one guy filling up a 30gal. drum with gas for his generator. Like we were going to be snowed in for a month or something!

    Very cool :)
Your right it is a trip to see people losing it over this but I guess when you need it it would be nice to have it.
I am really glad we did not lose power over this

I just noticed this, my neighbor's metal shed crushed flat by the snow. It was in pretty bad shape for a long time, totally rusted and the front doors gone. But still a pretty dramatic sight. -Kwok

We have (had) a metal awning over our front door and it was crushed with the weight of the snow as well. Hope they didn't have anything good stored in that shed Kwok.

It's supposed to get up to the 40's today. It's almost over ewo

Check out this ice sculpture! :D
I went to take out the trash and I found this thing was created from the snow melting from the roof.
Sorry the pics are so small ,but it looked really cool close up
