I have been trying out the 3D again tonight.
EvilTunes sent me a file to try out its a G6 Jet
Its uses a combination of 5/8 thick foam and 1/4" foam
The idea he had was to slice the fuse of the plane long ways! This was a great idea.
Here you will see the top portion of the plane made up of 3 sections there is 3 more sections for the bottom and 1 layer of 1/4" for the center part. I have not cut these yet.
This was a great test for the 3D because of the way the code was produced it shows any problems that came up. There were a few but its working awesome! :D
Glen is not ready to share the code until he gets the plane flying but he said it would be fine to post pics of the test carve.
One thing to keep in mind, I was cutting with a 50% step-over so it looks a lot more fuzzy and creates more long foam chips. If you were wanting a nice carving you would step over maybe 12 to 30max percent of the bit width. The sign in the background has a 30% step over and came out really nice unsanded. It takes longer but its well worth it. Also to note the scar across the top of the foam. That is my mistake, forgetting to set the safe height in the code height then the surface of the foam. There are many things I found to look at with Jovian and I am hoping this test will help him solve these issues.
I have to say this is going to be very cool once its up and running, It unreal that its this far already :D

That script will make the PhlatScript nearly perfect. It's a great combo with the PhaltPrinter . I'm glad I got me one.

Airfoil attempt :D Evil Tunes (Glen) Sent me a set of wings for the G6 to try out. They are a full airfoil wing!
There were a few bugs along the way but it worked! :D Its really starting to take shape now.
I have asked Jovian to give a call when he can so we can talk about integrating the 3D into the Phlatscript! This is going to be awesome!
