Was just at the Weak Signals show this past weekend and hung out for a bit at the Phlat Boyz booth. Bought a surfer dude from them and am putting it together!!! Really excited about it, and it is pretty well done. Realized today that I needed to get a few more things to finish it, and found out that when I bought the motor and speedo from Lazertoyz I got the wrong mount . Trying to figure out a good paint scheme for it (will post picks when I figure it out). Can't wait to get it done!!!!

Not quite an aritist but I try anyhow. Thanks for the compliment, I think they will look better when I get some more color in them... or something anyhow, they are missing something..

Still needs some work, I haven't painted the guy yet will hopefully do that this week....... Still need to get the right motor mount and servo horns, probably order that next week or so, trying to get the other planes ready to hit the sky first.....

 

So I finally got around to ordering the rest of the parts to put this dude together, beautiful rainy day outside hopefully I will finish it today!!!!

 

Well I flew the surfer dude last night finally for the first time!! Flies pretty good but it needs to balance a little farther forward than at the marks I think. The way it is right now it hangs on the prop pretty good!!! Still was really neat to fly. Going to redo some things and rebalance it and try again!! Can't WAIT!!!!
