I was cutting some wood with the pp and I got this error. :twitch:

My system is up to date with the latest USB-CNC software and drivers.
My computer is also up to date with all of the needed drivers,
My shop computer is a Pentium 4 2ghz, 2gb ram 500gb HD, and AGP 512mgb
video ram running Windows XP Professional .

The machine finished machining the part OK, but the screen was frozen, and all I could do was
press the OK button. When I pressed the button, the program was gone and the computer ran OK.
I have also gotten this error on other cnc files.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

I wish I was able to help you... but I never had this problem.

    Take care,
    Igor.

You should be fine with your OS and memory size. So far I've cut everything, including some 340,000+ line 3D files with only 768mb of RAM on the PC running XP and USBCNC on an AMD P4 class processor that's about ten years old.

PM Andreji and see if he has any ideas.

Check "DisplayResolution" setting and increase it.

    I am at the highest resolution I can get. I am set to 1920 x 1080 @ 32bit color.

Should I lower the screen resolution?

    Thank you.

    No

Open "Settings" dialog (menu "File/Settings"). Under "Misc" tab is "Display resolution" setting.
If this value is too low then you can get "OutOfMemory" error. Default is aproximatly 0.04" (1 millimeter).

    Regards
