Wings and ribs in SU

    I made this vid for a guy on RCG and figured I'd share it here also. This is my method of creating ribs. Although the Slicer plug-in works ok, I find this method easier and quicker.

    Yep, that's how its done. I find it quicker also. Gotta love that intersect and its commands. Not having that was the thing that almost kept me away from constructing in Sk.

    NICE.... I always know about the Intersect command, but never really knew how to use it.

    Yep, the intersect tool is powerful. It is also great for adding graphics or text to curved surfaces like air-foiled wings, fuse sides or turtle decks.

    Until reading this thread I didn't realize people were not familiar with the intersect tool. It was mentioned by AnyAirRC a long time ago when he showed how to make a, box, fuselage.
