    Zero

After my success with enlarging dz1sfb's FW-190, I've given the Zero the same 125% enlargement up to 36".

As before, the servo cutouts are tweaked to suit 9g servos and I made provision for a 4mm carbon rod main wing spar and 3mm carbon tail spar, otherwise everything remains the same.

Based on the flight performance of the FW-190 I'm opting for the same 150W of power from an 8" to 10" prop. My chosen setup is going to be:

    Turnigy 2830-1050kV
    Turnigy 20A-25A ESC
    Turngigy 1300maH 3s lipo
    9 x 6 APC style prop
    6110 Spektrum RX
    2 x 9g HXT servo

The Sketchup model is attached for anyone wanting to shuffle the parts around to suit different 1/4" foam sheet sizes from around the globe. Mine are based on a Phlatprinter 3 running the stock 1/8" bit with 6mm Depron in the European size of 700mm x 1000mm giving a safe area of 26" x 35". If you use my CNC files, it's best to cut the fuselage parts first from a sheet, then cut off a couple of inches of scrap from either end. Use this taped to the second 'wing' sheet to provide 'tails' so that the larger 37" cut can be made without running off the end of the rollers.

As before, a big thank-you to Ken for the original design.

So far I have cut the parts out and the dry fit looks OK, more news as the build progresses..... Attached files Zero V1 Fuz CNC.cnc (45 KB)Â Zero V1 Wing CNC.cnc (25 KB)Â Zero V1.skp (1.6 MB)Â [IMG] [IMG]

The Zero went together very easily and the fits were good. Attached are a few photos of the build, it just needs painting....
